Performance Evaluation
Gathered and analyzed key performance data for a therapeutic preschool program. Identified gaps in the organization’s data tracking that prevented accurate assessment of the program’s impact. Delivered process change recommendations to support staff in consistently collecting the right key performance indicators. This empowered the agency to ensure that the program delivered on its vision for behavioral changes in high-risk preschool-age children.
Program Design and Launch
Spearheaded design of a judicial referral program for a four-year college that leveraged the StrengthsQuest tool as a first step in a bigger vision to transform conduct sanctions that provided students with positive tools to change their lives. Collaborated with stakeholders across multiple campus departments to implement the program.
Organizational Development
Reengineered numerous processes and tools in the conduct program at a four-year college, resulting in greater efficiency, elimination of redundancy in conduct operations, and improved accuracy of data collection and tracking. Rewrote the program manual for all aspects of conduct program administration to better reflect current protocols and policies.
Process and System Improvements
Championed and led initial due diligence for implementation of a vendor conduct system for a four-year college. Conducted research that proved feasibility after years of staff believing the solution was impossible for a college of this size. Presented data with potential ROI for the entire conduct process, resulting in buy-in from all key stakeholders across campus. The system was implemented organization-wide and ultimately exceeded expectations for ROI.
Research
Identified issues with frequent reassignment of cases between social workers for one of the largest public child welfare agencies in the nation, leading to development of an original research project. Wrote a research proposal, secured and analyzed original data, and authored an academic report. Presented findings at the UCLA CalSWEC research summit.
Strategic Planning and Program Development
Supported and led a variety of strategic planning, research, and communications projects focused on youth-driven and youth-focused community organizations in several different municipalities throughout California and Colorado. Created the foundation for a new mentor training program for high-risk youth. Served as the internship coordinator in a charter school serving under-resourced youth in a racially segregated area of the city.
