You have such great insight, Laura, and I couldn't agree more. Isolation is a huge issue for solopreneurs. A trusted inner circle is critical when your view is blocked by the obstacles seemingly standing in front of you, failure is screaming in your ear, or a word of encouragement makes all the difference between giving up and moving forward. Those trusted advisors help you see things from a different perspective, in truth and love, and that makes all the difference!

Dear Laura,

Thanks for this great article! I love how you speak to so many of us who want to think about how we want to work (and live), who we want to work with (based on the "why" you mention), and how we want our values and passions to serve others/show up.

I think I've learned that for me, the process of refining and further clarifying my niche is definitely an evolving (and pretty much ongoing)process. And that's okay...it fits who I am and how I work. The idea of the cultural fit between what matters to us, how and what we offer, and the people for whom it will be exactly the right thing resonates with me. Great post; thank you for writing it!

Thanks for the words of encouragement, Victoria! You are so right about the beauty of retreat. It's a practice more people should take up on a regular basis.

Keep this message coming Laura - right on! Saying No to what doesn't align will send out messages to a very big Source about what we want or don't want.

For me this is a great reminder of why I call women to retreat - to find the quiet where they can hear their own voice again. And then the burnout that comes from that 'overdrive' fades away.

Thanks!
Victoria
